Walter William Dale, D.D.S., age 78, passed away Friday, June 17, 2016. He was born in Oak Park, Illinois, and graduated from Loyola University School of Dentistry, Chicago. He began his career in the Chicago area and practiced his profession in Georgia, Alabama, and Florida. Twenty-five years of his career was spent with the V.A., retiring as Dental Service Chief at Bay Pines Veterans Hospital in 2001. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Largo, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ann. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dolores; his four children, Jody (Cheryl) Dale, Suzanne (Steven) Layton, Christopher Dale, and Joanna (Daniel) Walsh: his four grandchildren, Shaughn Layton, Sydney Layton, Kaylee Dale and Darcy Dale. He is also survived by his sister, Anrita (LaMonte) Walker and nephews Father John Paul Walker and Erik Walker.
