Schmidt, Thomas J., 83, of Seminole, died surrounded by loved ones went to heaven on Saturday, July 11th, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. Tom was born in Oak Park, Illinois and lived in Illinois until moving to Florida in 1992, where he enjoyed the beach and glorious weather. Tom married the love of his life, Judy, in 1956, and they were inseparable from that day forward! Tom loved his pool, cruising, travel and going up to visit friends and family in Illinois. Tom also had a love of his pet chihuahua's, and his current Honey will comfort Tom II who helped care for Tom during his illness.

Tom was proceeded in death by the love of his life Judy.

He is survived by his sons Nick (Candace), Dan-Boone(Tina), Tom II, Ron( Laura ), daughters Lynn(Joe), Nancy, 12 grandchildren( Rose(Jon), JJ(Lauren), Samantha, Francesca, Tommy III(deceased), Danielle, Briana, Alexa, Andrew(Melissa), Kristin, Amy, Nick(Lyndsay) ) and 8 great grandchildren( Collin, Ava, Averi, Aiden, Tanner, Aubrey, Lily, Owen ).

Tom loved to cook out and BBQ around the pool and provide fantastic meals for everyone. He had a kind heart, a full tummy and cared about everyone. Tom will be missed by his family & friends, but will live on in their hearts & memories.

There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, August 1, 2020, 10:00 AM, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (Chapel), 11565 - 66th Ave. N., Seminole, Florida 33772. A private family burial will follow.

Tom joins Judy in heaven and wishes for all of us to "Live, Laugh and Love" in their honor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SunCoast Hospice. https://www.thehospice.org/ Home
