THERESA "TERRY" MUELLER
SEPTEMBER 11, 1941 - MAY 21, 2026

Theresa R. "Terry" Mueller, 84, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026, at her home in Palm Harbor, Florida, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on September II, 1941, in St. Louis, Missouri, Terry leaves behind a legacy of creativity, resilience, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. Terry grew up in St. Louis and attended Ritenour High School, where she met the love of her life, Vince. Drawn by Florida's sunshine, beautiful skies, and breathtaking sunsets, the couple eventually made the move south and built a life filled with love, adventure, and cherished memories. After working for Allstate Insurance, Sun Bank, and later as a real estate agent, Terry discovered her true passion in artistic design. She became the owner and manager of Beach Cottage Florist in Indian Shores, where her creativity flourished. During busy holiday seasons, Terry designed stunning floral arrangements while Vince proudly served as her delivery driver and trusted partner. Even after selling the shop. she continued sharing her talents, creating beautiful floral pieces for
family celebrations, weddings, and special occasions. Terry was also known for her love of garage sales and treasure hunting She delighted in finding incredible bargains and often recruited family and friends to join her on weekend adventures. In 1978, while working in real estate, she discovered what she considered her greatest find—a waterfront home in North Redington Beach with a spectacular view. For the next 48 years, she and Vince filled that home with laughter,
celebrations, and countless memories shared with family and friends.
Terry loved entertaining and was famous for her parties.

Despite weathering many storms over the years, Terry and Vince remained devoted to their beloved beach home until Hurricanes Helene and Milton ultimately destroyed it. True to her resilient spirit, Terry refused to let hardship define her. The couple found a new home in Palm Harbor, which she quickly embraced. Even while facing cancer, Terry insisted on hosting a neighborhood block party to meet the neighbors who had welcomed her and Vince with such kindness. Terry's creativity never faded. In her final months, she poured her energy into painting, decorating, and crafting special gifts for those she loved. She also made the most of every moment, enjoying family time at the beach with her toes in the sand, taking one last meaningful trip to the family cabin in Drake, Missouri, attending her grandson's wedding and celebrating a memorable birthday surrounded by loved ones, including her treasured great-grandchildren. Terry loved gathering people together, but above all, she loved her family. Terry is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, Vince; her loving children, Joe (Nancy), Chris, and Shelly (Chuck); eight cherished grandchildren; and eight adored great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. She is also survived by her brother, Tim McCullen (Pat); her sister, Karen Jones (Mark); and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Maryann Webster and Dorothy Harke. Terry's warmth, creativity, strength, and love will be remembered always by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
