Steve Jurczik passed away 7/31/25.  Born in St Petersburg, FL, He lived most of his life in Pinellas County FL. Graduated from Yankton College in South Dakota.  He was a PE teacher and also ran programs for the kids at Madeira Beach Rec Center and later at St Pete Beach Rec Center. He loved working with the children and making it fun for them.

He developed throat cancer and had to retire early due to complications from the treatments.  However his positive attitude and strength throughout the treatments and aftermath was an inspiration to all who knew him.

He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hiking, kayaking or simply listening to live music at the beach.  He also loved playing his guitar, singing (until he couldn't) and writing songs.   He is survived by his father Richard, his sister Stephanie, Aunts and Cousins and his many longtime friends.  He will be sorely missed by all.

A few years ago he and his friend Tori started attending Beaming Hope Church, in Largo FL where his soul was saved by the Grace of God.  He attended services there every Sunday and volunteered as much as he could.  While we mourn for our loss of his company on this earth, he is with God and no doubt singing and writing songs for him.
