Stephen John Pultorak, 96, passed peacefully on July 20, 2021, in Largo, FL. He was born on November 2, 1924 in Deferiet, NY. After graduating from Mississippi State University, he joined the Army Air Corp (which later became the Air Force) where he became a Lieutenant and flew B-29 and B-17 bomber planes. He was very proud of being a pilot and extremely proud of being a Veteran. After being married, he and his wife, Lorraine, lived in East Syracuse, NY where they raised their 8 children. He worked all of his adult life at the railroad until retiring from FlexiVan, a division of Conrail. They moved to Florida permanently after his retirement. In his later years he lived at Seasons Assisted Living in Largo, FL where he loved to dance (especially the jitterbug), work on his word search puzzles, and "tinker" with all his electronics.

He is survived by his 8 children; Stephen Jr. "Butch" (Susan) of Hudson, OH, Robert "Bob" (Shirley) of Largo, FL, Larry of Clearwater, FL, Susan (Raymond) Forest of Fayetteville, NY,  John "Jack" (Kathleen) of Tampa, FL, Kevin (Jeannine) of Indian Trail, NC, Lori (Walter) Langlois-Weaver of East Syracuse, NY, Anne (Ronald) DaPrano of Baldwinsville, NY, 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by the love of his life, Lorraine, who passed in November 1993 after 46 years of marriage. Also by his parents, Jacob and Mary Pultorak, brothers Frank and Edward, and sisters Anna, Mary, and Betty.
