Sal
Lamattina
May 3, 1959 — Mar 29, 2026
Pinellas Park
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sal LaMattina, 66, of Pinellas Park, Florida, who passed away on March 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Sal was a devoted husband to his wife, Tammy, and a loving father to his daughters, Natalie(Kevin) and Nicole. He was an incredibly proud grandfather to Luca and Sophia, who were truly the light of his life.
Sal spent his career as an over-the-road truck driver, a job that reflected his strong work ethic and dedication to providing for his family. Despite the long hours on the road, his heart was always at home with the people he loved most.
In his free time, Sal enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, especially during beach vacations filled with laughter and memories that will last forever. He was known for his sense of humor and was always making a joke, bringing smiles to those around him even in the simplest moments.
Sal had a generous and caring spirit. He was the kind of man who would always check in on his loved ones, making sure they were okay and offering help whenever it was needed. His presence brought comfort, strength, and laughter to so many.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his legacy of love, kindness, and humor will live on through his family.
A service will be held at Mohn Funeral Home on May 3rd at 2:00 PM.
