Ruth Eleanor Greene, age 97 passed away October 16, 2017.  She was born in East Liverpool, Ohio and moved to this area in 2005 from Punta Gorda, Fl. She was a Nurse with RNBS.  She was a Presbyterian and belonged to Northwoods Presbyterian church.  She was also a member of Burnt Store Country Club, Punta Gorda Isles Country Club, American Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau, and Phi Kappa Phi, former member of nursing teacher staff in Charlotte County, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her Mother, Nellie McBane, her Husband Dr. John Randall Greene, her Son, John Randall Greene Jr.
She is survived by Daughter-in-law, M. Sue Greene, Grandaughters, Kerri Greene Turner(Marc), Michelle Greene Hurd (Bill), and Great-Grandaughters, Kennedy Curtis and Haley Hurd.
