Obituary

Ruby "Jean" Edinger (90) passed away peacefully in the wee hours of February 8, 2017 – the 70th anniversary of her marriage to adoring late husband Art. Jean was born in Bells, TN where she resided until going to business college in Memphis, TN. While there, she met Navyman Art Edinger at a USO dance. Following their marriage, they relocated to Art's hometown of Milford, NJ. She raised a loving family of four children, worked as a Human Resources Administrator at Riegel Paper Corp and was an active member of the VFW Auxiliary. After retirement Jean and Art created lovely wooden crafts and enjoyed their time dancing, bowling, travelling and just being together. In 1996 the couple relocated to the Twin Oaks Community in Seminole where Jean was a dynamic member, serving several terms as the "Sunshine Lady" -- which speaks well to her happy and fun-loving personality. Jean was also an active member of the Lake Seminole Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by husband Art and grandson Richie Brunner. Survivors are children Barbara Shear (Dave), Arthur Edinger (Jean), Mary Jezierski (Pete), and Rick Edinger (Michelle), ten grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. She also considered her friends as family and there are too many to name, as she was friends with everyone she knew.
Donations can be made in her memory to Suncoast Hospice.
