Rosario John Greco "aka" John, 91 years old passed away October 25,2023 at Suncoast Hospice in Pinellas Park. John was born in Brooklyn, NY and came to Florida in 1960 from Nutley, New Jersey. He is preceded by his parents John and Mary Greco; Daughter Linda Fasciano; Daughter in law Carol Greco, Granddaughter Chelsea Greco; Brother Danny Greco; Sister Dolly Farinella.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Aziza Greco, Siblings Diane Szabo (Tom), Michael, Randall, children/stepchildren David Greco, Ramona Trimble, Lisa Elliott (Don), Edina McGuire, Rudy Greco (Gina), Don Fasciano (Son in law), 10 grandchildren, and 9 great- grandchildren. He also leaves behind other loving family members and friends.

He worked for General Electric in Largo as a Supervisor before moving up to Senior Buyer for Honeywell and Smith Industries. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was a volunteer for the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary for the last 15 years. He sponsored one of the first refugee families to come to FL during the war in Yugoslavia in 1993. John enjoyed boating, gardening, restoring automobiles and boats, as well as designing and constructing additions to his home.

His passion to keep learning kept his mind sharp. He held a bachelor's degree from Ohio University where he was a member of te Delta Sigma Pi.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Suncoast Hospice in Pinellas Park or the American Cancer Society.

There will be a private military honor ceremony for immediate family.
