Smith, Robert L. 89, passed away May 5, 2017. He was born in Mount Ashe, KY. and moved to this area in 1976 from Knoxville, TN. Robert was a regional sales manager for Sun Electric and served with the US Army during the Korean conflict. He is also a Christian and member of Pathways Community Church and coached youth basketball.
Robert was preceded in death by his son Wayne Smith; and is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dottie Smith; and sons Brad Smith and Scott Smith. He is also survived by his niece Tammy Dickman and nieces Teresa, Linda, and Jeanie; and numerous other family members and friends.
Robert will have a service at 12:30 PM, Friday June 2, 2017, at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
