Robert  S. Oranchak, better known as Bob,86, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, March 22, 2026.  He was born on February 8, 1940, in Johnson City, New York.  He later made Florida home.  Robert "Bob"was a family man, enjoyed his time with his family and friends, along side his wife Patricia.  He retired in 1995 from Martin Marietta (formally General Electric).  He loved the outdoors and taking care of his indoor and outdoor plants.  You would say he had a green thumb because plants thrived under his care.

He married his best friend and sole mate, Patricia, on October 1, 1960. They shared 65 years of love and marriage.  After the passing of his beloved wife, Patricia, Bob was completely lost without her.  Just a month went by before he went to be with his beautiful wife, joining her in heaven.  Some might say it's a Romeo & Juliet story.

He is survived by his three children: Thomas Oranchak, Doris Laney, and Cathy Marion.  His four grandchildren: Lisa  Laney, Stephanie Laney, Jason Oranchak, and Steven Oranchak and six great grandchildren: Kailey Denton, Caiden Denton, Ethan Levy, Everly Ryan, Elaine Ryan, and Chloe Oranchak.
