Robert (Bob) William Benoit, 74, passed away on February 5, 2025, in Seminole, Florida.
Born on July 19, 1950, in New York, New York, Robert lived a life marked by dedication
and service. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1971 to 1974 as a BMR
Airman stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. During his service, he was awarded the National
Defense Service Medal in recognition of his commitment to his country.

Following his military career, Robert continued his dedication to protecting others as a
New York City Police Officer. He also worked as a firearms instructor, sharing his
expertise and passion for safety. He wore his uniform with pride, embodying the values
of duty and honor throughout his life.

Beyond his professional achievements, Robert was an avid gun and shooting enthusiast
who enjoyed hunting and reading. Above all else, he cherished time spent with his
family. A devoted family man known for his responsibility, compassion, patience, and
selflessness; he left a lasting impact on those who knew him.

Robert held a strong belief in God's power and promises and trusted deeply in God's
will. He found great joy in spending time with his grandchildren and embraced the
blessings of faith and family throughout his life.

He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Dorothy Benoit. He is survived by his
wife, Rose, his son Bobby, his grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexis and Desiree. His sister,
Kathleen, his niece, Danielle, his great niece, Melina and his brother Raymond (Keri).
We will all miss him dearly.

A memorial gathering to honor Robert's life will be held on March 8, 2025, from 2:00
PM to 4:30 PM at Mohn Lewis W Funeral Home and Cremation Services, located at
9700 Seminole Blvd., Seminole, Florida 33772.

We find comfort in knowing that Bob's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us,
the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
