Seminole
Randolph Andrew Howard, 61, recently passed away unexpectedly in Seminole, Florida, on May 19, 2020. Randy, as called by his family and friends, was born on March 31, 1959 to the late Albert and Bertha Howard, in Gloucester Virginia.
Randy was educated in the Gloucester County Public School system and graduated in 1978. He was baptized at an early age and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing baseball with his brothers, cousins, and other neighborhood friends with the Gloucester Quick Steps on Howard field. He moved to Florida in the mid 80's and worked in the construction industry. Randy was always a hard worker and goal oriented leading him to eventually owning a plumbing and air conditioning company. Randy's outlook on life was always upbeat and he enjoyed laughing and making others laugh. He cared deeply for his family, and always did whatever was needed to take care of them.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 27 years, Susan Eckley-Howard, 2 sisters Shirley Howard-Haigbea and Geraldine Howard-Outlaw.
He leaves to cherish precious memories; a devoted daughter Brittany Howard, brothers Alvin Howard, Arthur Howard, Harold Howard (Yvette); sisters, Barbara Howard, Elaine Dillard (Joseph) and Yvonne Patton (Frank), along with 8 nephews, 5 nieces and a host of other relatives and friends. There were private memorial services held in Florida and Virginia.
