Phillip Dana Burnison, 67, died Wednesday, May 2, 2018. He was born in Champaign, ILL. and moved to this area in 1957 from his native, Champaign. Dana was a postal worker and also a Methodist, belonging to the Seminole United Methodist Church.Dana was a member of the Letter Carriers Union, a Boy Scout Leader, and volunteered at SUMC as an usher and Church van driver.
He was preceded in death by Donald and Terry Burnison. Dana is survived by his wife, Marie; son Justin Burnison; daughter Christina Burnison; and mother Doris Burnison. Other survivers include several nephews, nieces and grand-nieceses.
Donations may be made to Scout Troop 340 of Seminole United Methodist Church or the American Diabetes Assoc.
A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, May 14, 2018 at 2:00P.M. at the LW Mohn Funeral Home.
