Pat (Smythe) Schorr, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away at the age of 92 in the early morning of November 13, 2020 after a short illness.  She passed peacefully at home with her family at her side. In her final days she spent all of her time with her family and in particular her grandchildren who she adored.  Pat and the family reminisced about her life and in particular her parents, siblings and dozens of nieces and nephews who she loved so much. Her fondest recollections were of family parties and all the good times at the Jersey shore in summers past.

Pat was born in Philadelphia to John and Marguerite Smythe, lived in Lititz as a child and grew up in Darby, Pa. where she attended BVM Catholic School and Notre Dame HS for Girls.  Her and Jack were married in 1964 and had their only child Joe in 1965.  She worked in medical offices for years and was very involved in the PTO.  Pat and Jack moved to this area from Broomall, PA to be with Joe and his family in the early 2000s. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Seminole and belonged to various Catholic organizations.

Pat is survived by her beloved husband, Jack, son Joe, his wife Tara and their children, Devon, Madison, and Conor. Pat was one of 11 children and has 32 nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters, Theresa Carter and Betty Zencack.

Pat had a great lifelong devotion to St. Thérèse of Lisieux, as such donations in Pat's name may be made to the Society of the Little Flower, Darien, IL.

Friends and family will gather for a visitation at 9:30 AM, Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020 at Blessed Sacrament Church in Seminole, Fl followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM.  The Mass will be shown on facebook live from the Parish's facebook page.
