King, Patricia J.

After a long valiant battle with a myriad of conditions, Patty died April 18, 2022.  She was born August 27, 1949, in Jeffersonville, Indiana to Bert and Ruth Litteral.  Since her father was a member of the United States Air Force, Patty lived in several locations as a child, including New York and Bermuda, where she learned to drive.  As a teenager the family moved to Clearwater where Patty graduated from Clearwater High School in 1967.  She graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in elementary education and was a devoted kindergarten teacher at Largo Central Elementary and Leila Davis Elementary in Clearwater. After she retired Patty continued substituting in the Pinellas County School System for several more years.

Patty was a long time member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a member of Colonial Dames.  As the wife of a member of the Rotary Club of Seminole she participated in the planning and operation of all of the charity projects the club presented for almost forty years.  Patty is survived by her husband, Paul N. King and many friends in Seminole, Florida and Blue Ridge, Georgia.

A Memorial service is scheduled for friends and family 5 -6:00 PM, Wed. May 11, 2022.
