Hooper, Patricia E. 89, died Saturday, January 28, 2017. Patricia was born on May 4, 1927 and moved to this area in 1986 from Akron, Ohio. She was a homemaker and mother and a member of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club, the Salter Sister Sailing Club, a six-year volunteer with Lake Seminole Assisted Living, and twenty-year member with the United States Power Squadron. She also won over 25 metals in the Senior Olympics and was an active Lake Seminole Square mentor and volunteer with many leader Roles. Patricia was a world traveler with the St. Petersburg Yacht Club and played many roles with the Lake Seminole Square Theater group . Patricia is survived by her husband of 68 years, William C. Hooper; two daughters, Susan L. Zimmer (Blu), Cynthia L. Copeland (James), and a son, William C. Hooper, Jr. (Maude); four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Life has been planned for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017 at Lake Seminole Square auditorium.
