Michael E. "Mike" Sharpe, age 83, passed away Saturday December 21, 2019.  He was born in Tampa, FL and moved to this area in 1963 to Pinellas County.  Mike started with the Sheriffs office as an ID Tech and 35 years later he retired out of AFIS in 1998.  Mike also served in the Coast Guard Reserve for 27 years.

Mike enjoyed camping all over Florida with the Florida Hi-Lofers.  His interests also included reading, photography, old movies and country music.

Mike is survived by his wife of 36 years Joan.  Daughters Peggy Sharpe Wisniewsky (Randy) and her children Rebeka Parrott (Darren), Jacob Wisniewsky, and Rachel Wisniewsky. Also his Daughter Patty Sharpe Procko and her children Michael Sharpe, Dominic Procko, and Arianna Procko as well as Great Granddaughter Aubrey Parrott.

Other survivors are his sister Valery McAllister.  One Nephew, Three Nieces, 3 Great Nephews and 4 Great Nieces.
