Michael Wm. Bihr Col (R) USA, 67, died Saturday, September 8, 2018. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was transferred by the Army to this area in 2007. His last assignment was the Pentagon in Washington, DC. Michael was a Col. In the nurse branch of the US Army, and was a Catholic, belonging to St. Matthews Church. He also was a member of MOAA, American Legion, and VFW. After discharge from the Army he was a Care Coordinator with the Care Coalition at Southern Command at MacDill AFB.  He also was a volunteer with the VET Court in Tampa.

Michael is survived by his wife Bonnie, daughter Dilya, and father William Bihr.

Donations may be made in his memory to Global Military Family Coalition, Inc; or any Military Service organization in support of Military members and families.

There will be a gathering at the Mohn Funeral Home on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, with a service following at 2:00 PM, with an Inurnment later at Arlington National Cemetery.
