Michael Loyde Barlow, 70, died July 26, 2025. He was born in Jackson Mississippi, and moved to this area in June 1986 from Apopka, Florida. He was a fleet manager with Duke Energy for 32 years. After retirement, he went on to become a business owner until passing. Michael was a man of faith and attended Starkey Road Baptist Church. He loved to fish and there was never a day that he wouldn't want to be out on the water. Mike was also an avid cyclist. He loved people and you could always find him and his loyal companion, Bella, riding through the neighborhood in his golf cart visiting with anyone who would stop to talk with him. Mikes biggest joy in life was spending time with his 5 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Barlow, and sister-in-law, Debbie Barlow.

Mike is survived by his beloved wife Deborah Barlow; 2 sons, Christopher (Amy) and Wesley (Maria) Barlow.; 5 grandchildren, Jack, Christian, Leah, Luke and Levi; also his father Harold Barlow and siblings Rita Barlow, and Glen (Rita) Barlow.

There will be a gathering at the LW Mohn Funeral Home, on Sat. Aug. 2, from 9:00 - 10:00 AM with an 10:00 AM service followed by a burial at the Garden Sanctuary Cemetery.
