Maryann Keller, age 87, of Seminole, Fl. passed away February 26, 2021.  Maryann's parents were immigrants from Germany but she was fortunate to be born in Buffalo, New York.  She often mentioned how bad she felt when she was a child during WWII when all of her relation lived there and only one lived in the USA.  After the war she would help send CARE packages which consisted of medicine, coffee, clothes and toys to her distant relatives.  Maryann was in the first graduating class of the new bishop McMahon High School.

We met at our church picnic, then roller skated and danced at CYO affairs every week.  We were engaged in her senior year and married in 1954.  While having five children in 7 1/2 years, she was hooked on watching "Days of our lives" and did so for almost 66 years.  Friday night cards with the girls was a "MUST".

In 1979 we went to Germany and she finally met her relatives.  Her cultural tradition of recipes passed down from her mother, cooked and baked to perfection made our mouths water.

Maryann was a loving wife, a loving mother and a grandmother and had every quality you would want in a woman.

Maryann was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Anna Brosch, Brother Frederick and Sister Marley.

Maryann is survived by Gene her husband of 67 years and five children; Gene (Suzanne), Karen, Kenneth, Kathryn Emery (Lon), and Frederick (Deb).  She also has six grandchildren.  Nicolle and Mathew, Jessica and Natasha, Victor and Viktoria.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10AM Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church located at 11565 66th ave Seminole, FL.

Burial will be at Bay Pines National Cemetery.

A donation may be made in her memory to Hospice.
