Mary M. Clendenny of Seminole , Florida passed away of March 11, 2016, after a short illness. She is survived by her husband of over sixty five years, Ewell J. Clendenny and her nephews, Gerald, Thomas and Jeffrey of New Jersey. In addition she is survived by her
cousins. Mary was an educator and librarian in the Florida school system for many years. Mary was born on Sept. 7, 1922, at her grandmother's home in Cranford, NJ, and attended local schools. Her parents were Mary and Henry Schwenke. During World War II, Mary served her country in the United States Navy. After the war, she and her husband Ewell attended Florida Southern College.
Cremation will be private with interment in the family burial plot at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, NJ at a future date.
