Mary L. Best of Largo died June 25, 2024. She was born in Washington D.C. and moved to this area in 1982 from Beltsville, MD. Mary was a Christian and an administrative assistant. She also loved her family and gardening, decorating and shopping. She loved holidays and celebrating birthdays.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, John Michael Best; daughters Debbie Hofstetter and Michelle Neal. She is survived by sister Paula Simpkins, sons in law, Mike Hofstetter and Greg Neal; Grandchildren, Lily and Logan Hofstetter, Meagan Neal, Courtney Neal, Shelbie Neal and Corey Neal. Also Great-grandchildren: Aerie Neal, Bryson Jackson, Mila Jackson, Kaelyn Drummond and Austin Neal: and niece and nephews.

A celebration of life is scheduled later.
