Marrion "Terry"
Cantu
Jun 4, 1945 — Dec 11, 2022
Madeira Beach
Marrion "Terry" Cantu, of Madeira Beach, died of natural causes on Sunday the 11th of December after an extended hospital stay with her devoted daughters by her side.
Born in 1945 and raised in Joliet, IL. Terry was a 1963 graduate of Joliet Township high school. A lifelong banker by profession. Terry started as a bank teller and retired as a Senior Executive Vice President of Bank of America with over 45 years. Graduating from the University of Florida with a banking degree along the way. While a very accomplished woman, she would quickly tell you her greatest pride was in her daughters.
Terry loved life like few others and had many adrenaline fueled interests and hobbies. Spending a lot of her time on the water, she was a licensed boat captain and an avis boat racer. She enjoyed fishing and diving for lobster. She liked to travel as well and was quite often very lucky in a casino.
The youngest of 6 children, she was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Cantu and Violet (Crosson) Cantu; and siblings Louis Cantu, Jr., Marilyn Reichman, Marvel Woodcock, Marguerite Bolerjack, Mary Mardella Voss. She is survived by her daughters, Marlene (Tibbetts) Moff (Doug), and Marlynda (Tibbetts) Panulski (Stan).
A party to celebrate her life will be held on January 8, 2023 in Madeira Beach.
