Marilyn Kenna Rohrer of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away Friday, May 13, with her husband, Derek Rohrer at her side. Now she is with the Lord in peace. Marilyn is survived by her husband; children Jennifer Kellis of Saint Simons Is, GA and Kristen Rohrer of Watkinsville, GA; her five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Marilyn was born on July 23, 1945 in McComb, Mississippi, as an only child of Murray and Norma Kenna. She attended Florida State University, where she met her soul mate and husband, Derek Rohrer. Marilyn and Derek settled in St. Petersburg, FL, where they remained throughout her life. She attended St. Petersburg Junior College and become a successful interior designer. Her husband and children remember her as a fighter, one of strong faith, and a Southern Belle in the truest since of the word. Family, friends, and her faith were the passions that guided her life.

Marilyn Rohrer was a long time member of Faith Community Church in Seminole, Florida, where well-wishers are asked to make a donation in lieu of floral arrangements.

Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service at the Anona United Methodist Church, 13233 Indian Rocks Rd, Largo, FL 33774, on Saturday, June 18, at 2:00PM. A reception will follow in fellowship hall.
