Obituary

Lillian Louise Robertson passed away at her home on Sunday, July 16 at the age of 93. Affectionately known as Bunnie, she was born in Palmyra, New Jersey where she lived until moving to Florida in 1983. Among the many jobs she held before retirement, Lillian was a Secretary for the Coast Guard during World War II and a Court Reporter in Philadelphia, PA. She was a woman of faith and an active member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Palmyra, New Jersey and St. Andrew Lutheran Church in St. Petersburg. She dearly loved her family and a highlight of every year since 1983 was the Thanksgiving family reunions on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
She is preceded in death by Thomas Joseph Robertson, her husband of 56 years. And is survived by her four children, Valerie Webb (St. Charles, IL), Dale Abete and husband Edward (Virginia Beach, VA), Thomas, Jr. (Roanoke, VA), William and wife Joy (Cape Charles, VA); 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to extend its deepest gratitude to the dedicated and compassionate staff of the Seminole Pavilion Rehabilitation and Nursing Services, Freedom Square Wellness Center, and Empath Hospice Services for their loving and competent care at the end of their Mother's life.
A memorial service will be conducted in New Jersey at a later date.
