Kimberly M.
Bass
May 21, 1975 — Oct 19, 2024
Seminole
Kimberly Marie (Kelly) Bass, 49, of Seminole, passed away on October 19, 2024, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.
Kim was born on May 21, 1975, to her loving parents, Bonnie and Ed Kelly. A graduate of Seminole High School in 1993, Kim married her high school sweetheart and welcomed a son into her life in 1996.
As a child she was an avid lover of the arts. She danced ballet most of her childhood and was a member of the choral group Seminole Music Makers. Those who knew her best lovingly coined her "Snow White" for her love of animals and unique way to draw even the undomesticated ones close to her. She was small but mighty, Kim brought a light into every room she entered with her special way of making every person feel like the only person in the room. She was a listener with the compassion of a saint and a unique quality for lending advice that everyone listened to. She found the good in everything and everyone around her truly making her the sunshine of the family she loved so deeply. Nothing mattered more to Kim than family.
Kim is predeceased by her father Ed Kelly. She is survived by her son Gage Bass, mother Bonnie Gulan, brother Chris Kelly, sister Nikki Cooper, nieces Rylee Kelly, Camryn Kelly, Emma Kelly and nephews Tanner Cooper and Noah Cooper.
The family welcomes those who knew and loved Kim to join them at a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 9 th at 1pm at 14417 85 th Avenue in Seminole. You are encouraged to wear yellow in Kim's honor as this was her favorite color.
