Obituary

In Loving Memory of Kevin Paul McGarry Jr. Born Nov. 29, 1982.

With profound sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of Kevin Paul McGarry Jr.

Kevin was a beloved Son, Father, Brother, Uncle, Grandson, Nephew, Cousin, and loyal friend whose kind heart left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Kevin, the Rock of his family, lived an adventurous and fulfilled life fearlessly living for the moment and always enjoying the now. His personality was quietly loud, Kevin was a presence felt in every room he arrived in and no matter the circumstance he was always present and willing when called upon and would do whatever he could to be of service to those he loved the most. He always saw the best in people.

In recent months, Kevin had begun an exciting new chapter in his life, surrounding himself with people who encouraged and supported him. Those closest to him admired his strength, resilience, hope for the future, his unwavering commitment to becoming the best version of himself, his vision for a brighter future, and the kindness he showed by always extending a helping hand to those in need.

He will be remembered for his boss mentality, entrepreneurial spirit, and his unwavering role as the peaceful protector of his Mother and family. He was a man who led with strength, worked hard for what he believed in, and always made sure the people he loved felt protected. Kevin had a gift for making people laugh and feel welcome. He was compassionate, genuine, and the kind of person who would show up without being asked. Whether he was spending time with family, working, or simply enjoying a quiet day, he made every moment meaningful.

His passing has left an unimaginable void in the hearts of those who loved him. While our family grieves this devastating loss, we also celebrate the life he lived, the love he gave so freely, and the memories that will remain with us forever.

Kevin is survived by his loving and devoted mother, Linda; his cherished sons, Jaxton and Addison; his loyal sisters, Danielle, Lindsay, Katelyn, Kristina, and Melissa; his aunts and uncles; his beloved nephews, Michael, Davinyl, Laith, Zayne, Damere, Felix, and Oliver; his cherished nieces, Natalia, Danaijah, and Halima; his extended family from his hometown of Boston, Mass; and countless lifelong friends who will forever cherish his memory and carry his spirit in their hearts.

The family asks that Kevin be remembered not for the way he left this world, but for the way he lived—with determination, kindness, generosity, and a heart that always made room for others. His life mattered, his story mattered, and he will be deeply missed every single day.

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever missed.
