Kenneth Earle McCormick, 77, went home to be with the Lord on September 14, 2018. He was born in Toronto, Canada and came to this area in March of 2017 from Delray Beach, FL. Where he resided since 1999. Kenneth worked in the sales and marketing field for wholesale plumbing, heating and AC distributors, and served as a resident dockmaster for his condominium community. He was also a Lutheran and belonged to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Seminole. Kenneth's hobbies and interests include boating, woodworking, and traveling with his wife Jean. In his retirement, he was a consultant for Special Access Services, helping schools, colleges and hotels to better accommodate persons with disabilities. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen G. McCormick, father Christopher V. McCormick; two brothers, Christopher and Robert R. McCormick; and a grandson, Benjamin A. Buechler.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jean L. McCormick; daughter and Cheryl A Brown (Hunter); son Kenneth McCormick, Jr. (Robyn); step-sons, Steven A. Buechler and Robert A. Buechler (Debra). He is also survived by a brother, Victor C. McCormick and family, as well as 9 grandchildren and 6 nieces and nephews; and several honorable cousins.
Donations may be made in his memory to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Seminole, FL.
A memorial service will be held at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 10891 102 Ave. North, Seminole, FL, on October 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
