Colonel Kathleen Murray, USAF, Retired , 77, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2022, after a courageous struggle with Alzheimer's.
Born in Orlando, Florida, Kathy went to Bishop Moore High School and then attended Spaulding College in Louisville, Kentucky. She graduated with a BSN in Nursing. She worked as an RN at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Florida and Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater, Florida, until she retired in 2010. Kathy was loved by her patients and co-workers for her skills and compassion.
She loved the Lord and was a member of Church by the Sea, helping with the membership committee.
Kathy served 26 years in the Air Force Reserves as a flight nurse and as an Emergency Preparedness Officer, retiring in 2007 with the rank of Colonel. She was deployed to the Desert Storm war in 1991 and was proud to serve her country.
She was preceded in death by Frank Bornemann father; Elizabeth Bornemann, mother; Elizabeth, sister and Michael, brother.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband, Richard Cinncoine, and his daughter Heather,; brother, Thomas Bornemann, his wife, Cynthia; nieces and nephews: Kathe, Larry, Beth, Jen, Laura and Sarah and their children; and our dear friends and caregivers for many years, Ms. Rae and Mr. Brown.
Celebration of Kathy's life will be held at:
Mohn Funeral Home, 9700 Seminole Blvd, Seminole, Fl. 33772 on January 12 th , 12:00, noon with burial at Bay Pines National Cemetery at 2pm.
