Katherine L. McGuire, 86, died December 5, 2024. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and came to this area in 2009 from Wildwood, NJ. She was a retired business owner and was preceded in death by her son, Michael McGuire.  She is survived by granddaughter, Kelly McGuire; great-grandson, Noah; sister, Bonnie; daughter-in-law Dyan; sister-in-laws Bonnie and Mary, also many nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.

Born and raised in Philly, married at a young age, and raised her own family in Northeast Philadelphia, with husband Edward and sons Edward and Michael. In 1984 started a tax business with a partner, in Bensalem, PA. Moved to Wildwood, NJ in the 1998 and had been living in Largo, FL for the past 15 years. Husband Edward passed away in 2020, son Edward in 2023. On top of her being a business owner, she was involved in countless organizations, associations, committees, etc., usually as treasurer, but always as an integral member. She was also an avid craft-maker, between knitting and crocheting. Countless memorable creations. Her philosophy was: "Use it or lose it." She never kept idle, even late in life. Constant and consistent connections with so many people for so many years. Nothing though, was more important than family. She leaves a lifetime of wonderful memories. Son Michael and granddaughter Kelly continue to run the family tax business to this day.
