Joseph R. Edelmann, 82, passed away Sept. 21, 2025. He was born in Queens, New York and moved to Florida in 2005 from New York. He was a New York City Police Detective and was a member of the Arlington Cemetery Honor Guard with the US Army. Joseph also belonged to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pinellas Park, and Blue Knights Chapter 17, and Harley Davidson.

He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father and Brother. He is survived by his wife, Marie; daughters, Michelle, Danielle, Merrie and Jessica, also his son, Joe. Other survivors include sisters, Dolly, Ann and Maureen.

Donations may be made in his memory to Tunnels to Towers or St. Jude Church.

A Gathering will be held Friday September 26th, 2025 from 1:00PM - 2:00PM.

The Memorial Service will be at 2:00PM.

Joe's final resting place will be at Bay Pines National Cemetery at a later date.
