Johns Par Saltsman, age 78, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2025.

Born on September 9, 1947, John lived a life rooted in service, dedication, and love. He proudly served in the United States Navy for six years, including a tour in Vietnam, embodying courage and commitment. After his military service, he pursued higher education at Saint Petersburg Community College and Eckerd College.

John's professional life was marked by leadership and integrity. He served as a branch manager for Kmart and later as the store operations manager for Sam Flax Art & Design's Atlanta branch, earning the respect of colleagues and customers alike.

Outside of work, John was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved coaching baseball for his son and was an avid pickleball player. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family and sharing in their achievements and lives.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Jeanette Saltsman; his cherished son, Brian Saltsman; and his brothers, George Saltsman and Robert Saltsman.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Matthews Episcopal Church. Family and friends are invited to celebrate John's life and legacy.
