John Daniel Branch, age 88, passed away March 17, 2019.  He was born March 31, 1930 and moved to this area in 1986 from Masaryktown, FL.  He was a City of Tampa Fire Rescue and Paramedic and Served in the Air Force as a Technical Sargent.  John was Baptist.

John was a member of USAF Para-rescue (PJ's) Association, Tampa Retired Fire Fighters Association, Inc. (TRFFA).  After retirement he was the Mayor of Masaryktown, Florida, Commissioner of Redington Shores, Florida, Vice Mayor, and Re-elect Commissioner.  He was also a self employed Contractor.

He was preceded in death by John Daniel and Jesse Caroline Branch (Parents), John Daniel Branch Jr. (Son).

John is survived by Lillian Duffy (Wife), Daughters Pamela Hickson (Keith) of North Carolina, Carolyn Bell of Seminole, Florida, and Denise Duffy of St. Petersburg, Florida.

Other survivors and friends are Grandchildren: Julie Murphy (David) of Tampa, Florida, Robbie Northrop (Gwen) of Brooksville, Florida, Ashley Bell and Kacey Bell of Cape Coral, Florida.  6 Great-grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild, and Numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
