John Michael "Mike" Best, 79 years old, passed away on May 23rd, 2026.
He was born on July 14th, 1946, in Washington, D.C., and raised in Potomac, MD. He moved to Seminole, FL, in 1981. Mike was an Operations Manager for Daikin and worked in the commercial HVAC industry for 55 years.

From the time Mike was a young boy, he had a deep love for the game of baseball, playing throughout his childhood, high school years, and well into adulthood. He also found great joy in working on cars, spending time with friends, and sharing stories and laughter with those around him. Above all else, his greatest pride and love was his family.

Professionally, he was a respected mentor, trainer, and leader in the HVAC industry. Known for his knowledge, work ethic, and willingness to teach others, many considered him a "LEGEND" in his trade. His impact—both in his profession and on the people fortunate enough to know him—will never be forgotten.
