Joan Lanning, 78, passed away May 9 ^th , 2018. She was born September 16 ^th , 1939  and moved to Seminole in 1967, from Charlotte, NC.
She was a homemaker, considered herself Protestant and attended Praise Cathedral in Pinellas Park. She was an active member in her church making dance costumes, flags and banners. She helped with the choreography of the dances preformed at the church.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents Carl & Georgia Melton, her brothers Donald & Richard, and her sister Kay.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Woody, her son David (Terri), daughter Carla Robinson (James), grandson Anthony & Great grandson Connor McKelvey. Also her Step grandsons Mike & Sean Mulvihill.
Donations may be madein her memory to Moffit Cancer Center, Tampa Florida.
