Joan Botham, 90, died Nov. 10, 2023, surrounded by family.. She was born in Pawtucket, R.I., and moved to this area with her husband Gordon, in 1959 from Norwich, Conn.

Joan was a secretary prior to starting a family.  She loved gardening and friends could see her pruning her flowers and sitting in her back porch  enjoying the lovely Florida weather. Every morning Joan would enjoy her traditional cup of tea served with a homemade blueberry muffin.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; son, Scott; and her parents John and Mary Ellen Curry. Joan was recently joined in death by her sister Lois Curry Morse, who passed away 8 days after Joan.

She is survived by her son, Kevin (Judy); grandsons, Ben and Zachary; and daughter-in-law Annette.

Funeral services are Dec. 30, 2023, at 10:00 AM in the chap[el at Blessed sacrament Catholic church, 11565  66 Ave., Seminole, 33772. A reception at the home of Kevin and Judy, will follow immediately after the service..
