Janet Elaine Adams, 77, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died Saturday, February 11, 2017. Jan is survived by her husband, Steve, of forty years, son Scott DiSanti and two granddaughters; daughter Shari Brangan, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents, Elmo and Betty Templin of Indiana. Born in Indianapolis, Jan lived twenty-four years in Portland, Oregon and finally settled in Florida the last seventeen years.
Jan volunteered teaching first graders for many years, loved to walk, sew, cook, bake, decorate cakes, play bunko and games of all kinds, oil paint, travel, and square dance. It would be easier to list what Jan was not willing to try.
Her career consisted of bookkeeping and officer managerial positions, mainly in the architecture and construction industry.
Jan was an avid animal lover. Donations may be made in her name to Canine Estates, Palm Harbor, Florida.

The family will receive friends at Lewis W. Mohn Funeral Home, Seminole, FL, at 10:00 AM to Noon, Tuesday, February 14, to celebrate her life.
