He is survived by his loving and wonderful wife Madonna (Donna), three children James Jr and his wife Karen, David and his wife Janet and Ana and Will.  Three grand children, Kate, James III and Julia.

He was a USAF veteran and a graduate of George Washington University.  He had a very successful career in the aerospace and defense industry working on manned and unmanned space programs, satellite communication projects and special communication programs for both the US and foreign customers.
He traveled extensively both domestic and internationally and had a permanent residence in Europe for three years.  He retired in 1996 as the Director of Marketing and Advanced Product Development for Raytheon.
He was an avid golfer; a charter member of the Bayou Club and enjoyed sport fishing in South and Central America, the Bahamas, Alaska and Canada.
He was a big guy, a good guy and a smart guy who enjoyed the pleasure of many close friends.   He didn't hesitate to offer a helping hand to those in need.  He will be sorely missed by his wife, family and friends.
Private family services will be at a later date.
