Obituary

James (Jim) Warren Ware age 74, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from a long battle with Parkinson's. He was born on November 4, 1943 in Allentown, PA., the son of Lawrence and Lillian Ware.

He was preceded in death by Doris Ware, his wife of 44 years and will be missed by his brother Larry Ware and sister-in-law Mary Ware; his children Guy Harriott, Jamie Harriott, Ryan Harriott, and Tara Stanley and three grandchildren Jordan, Devan and Kalea. Jim is also survived by daughters-in-law, Wendy and Debbie and brother-in-law Robert Lix.

Jim loved family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. He retired from Bethlehem Steel after 34 years and moved to Largo, Florida from Allentown in 2000. As a young man, he served in the United States Airforce and always lived life on the edge with many activities. He was a life time member of the Hogan's social club in Allentown.

Jim's love for boating, the water and motorcycles was especially enjoyable to him. He loved to cruise the world with Doris and friends and videotaped every minute he could. You could always count on Jim to share his drawer full of chocolate snacks with you.

A gathering to celebrate his life is scheduled for Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 11:30 AM with a noon service following at the L.W. Mohn Funeral Home.
