James J. Enright, Jr., 91, of Seminole, Florida, went to be with our Lord October 31, 2017 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL after suffering complications from a stroke the week before. Born in June, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY, Jim was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He was a man for all seasons – a complex man to say the least; a brilliant scholar, teacher, semi-pro baseball player, Navy Reserve pilot, virtuoso violinist, theologian, and family man. He was a 1944 graduate of Regis High School in New York City, and went on to earn several advanced degrees at Fordham University, Georgetown University and Marquette University. His life spread the joy of musicianship and brought countless students, friends and family members closer to God. After growing up in New York City, Jim lived and worked in Paris, France, Milwaukee, WI, Denver, CO, Voorheesville, NY, Hazlet, NJ and Middletown, NJ, before retiring to Seminole, FL. He was pre-deceased by his sister, Audrey Enright Stanley, and his parents, James J. Enright, Sr. and Edna Enright. He is survived by his wife, Joan Enright, two children, Jacqueline Cadzow, also of Seminole, and Donald Enright, of Chevy Chase, Maryland, and four grandchildren, Liam, Dara, Heather and James. A funeral service in memory of Jim will be held at
