Hailey Marie Mullen, age 20, died as the result of an automobile accident on November 19, 2018.  She was returning home from class with her grandmother, Ann Marie DeSocio when their car was struck by a speeding pick-up truck.  Hailey died at the accident site and Ann Marie remains in critical condition.  Hailey was an FSU student majoring in teaching for the visually impaired.  She graduated from Dixie Hollins High School, had received her associates degree with honors from SPC prior to enrolling with FSU.  She was well known, well liked, and will be sorely missed.  Hailey worked at publix part time.  Always looking to help others strongly influenced her in choosing her career path.  Her love of children and animals was always on display.  This was a life cut too short and will deprive so many of what she had to offer.  Hailey is survived by her parents Lisa Marie and Kevin Mullen, Great Grandmother Theresa Kearney, Grandparents Ann Marie and Paul DeSocio, Kay and Jack Mullen, Aunts Danielle, Kristina and Loretta, Uncles Rob, Brian, and Ricardo and many loving cousins.  There are friends, classmates, and co-workers to numerous to list without risking leaving someone out.  Thank you for your prayers and condolences.  A Celebration of Life with date and location will be announced after the New Year.
