Gloria (Ann) Phillips left her friends and family on July 1,2026 to meet her beloved Joe Phillips.  Born in Henry County, Indiana and raised in Marion, Indiana she spent most of her life in Greenwood, Indiana moving to Largo, Florida in 2022.  Ann was open, honest and genuine, picking up many friends throughout her lifetime. She will be missed by her son Doug Phillips, 4 grandchildren, a sister and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.  She was a classy lady with a style all her own.  A friend of stray dogs and all sorts of other critters, she and Joe together created a welcoming sanctuary for many animals and family as well, creating a safe place full of laughter, pranks and hospitality.  There is little doubt that Joe was waiting for his "sweet Annie" on the other side so that they could cross the Rainbow Bridge together to frolic merrily with Abie, Lenny, Maude, George, Happy, Grinny, Harvey and that crazy raccoon. Aunt Ann you are missed already.

In respecting Ann's wishes there will be no service or memorial. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Fluff Animal Rescue, Pinellas Park, FL. in her name.
