Gerard ("Jerry") Hagenbach, 94, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 of natural causes at Sabal Palms in Largo, Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita, who passed away in August, 2015. He is survived by his son, Robert, and twin daughters Kathleen and Kimberly. Jerry was born in Rochester, New York.  After serving in the Navy in World War 2, Jerry attended the University of Rochester where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. He worked his whole career at Union Carbide in Tonawanda, New York. He retired in the early 1980s and then moved to Largo, Florida. In Largo, he sold real estate part time for Century 21. But his real love was golf. He was a member of the Bayou Country Club where his picture is still on the wall for several championship wins. He got 3 holes in one during his golfing career and had a great short game. We will miss him dearly.
