Frances Jean Bowie, 92, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born in Bay City, Michigan on December 29, 1923 and moved to this area in 1977 from Benton Harbor, Michigan. She was a Registered Nurse, Catholic, and belonged to St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church. She loved music, sewing, needlework, reading, politics, conversing with family and friends, and her church. She was preceded in death by parents; Margaret and Frederick Pero; husband of 48 years, Charles R. Bowie, and brothers Patrick and Frederick Pero. She is survived by 12 children; Michael, William, Lynn Marie (Shelton), Daniel, John, James, Richard, Stephen, Elizabeth (Lomonaco), Matthew, Christine (Bailiff), Victoria (Stokely), 27 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
