Elinor Jean (Bunting) Jawors, 96, died April 26, 2025. She was born in Bloomington, IL. and moved to this area in 1960 from San Francisco, CA. She was a secretary and social vents planner. Ellie was an amazing Christian woman who cherished being a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to her deep commitment to be actively involved in her immediate family, Ellie truly enjoyed bringing joy and laughter to those around her in the workplace and in her many opportunities to volunteer in several different organizations. She thrived on putting together programs and events that would enliven all those involved; often writing original jokes and anecdotes that she couldn't wait to stand up and deliver. She was a member of Twin Oaks Social Club and Bay Pines Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter John Jawors; and step-son Gerard David Jawors.

She is survived by her children; Gregory Jawors, Christiane Rucker, Barron Jawors, Walter Jawors, and Gloria Wilcox; and grandchildren; Tiffani Blasi, Alethia Thirteens, Aaron Jawors, Trenton Jawors, Joel Jawors, Theodore J.C. Marshall, Kathryn Alyssa Laughhunn, Celesta Wilcox, Barbara (Barbie)  Jawors, Ann Deidre, Victoria Brazelton, Paige Jawors, and Jacob Paige-Jawors;  and Great-Grandchildren: Bridget Campbell, Rory Campbell, and Crimson Thirteens.

There is a memorial service scheduled on May 3, at 10:00 AM at Bay Pines Lutheran Church.
