Obituary

Eleanore Patricia Walker (Witkowski), 86, of Seminole, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida after a long battle with illness with her devoted family by her side. Eleanore was born the 14 th of 15 children on May 22, 1936 in Wilmington, Delaware to Walter and to Rose M. Witkowski (Chorzelewski). Eleanore was proceeded in death by her parents and sadly all her siblings, including the loss of her brother Józef (Joseph), before her own birth when he was only 22 months old. Eleanore is survived by her loving daughter Kathleen Marie Walker and son Clint Gerard Walker, both of Seminole, FL which she gave unconditional love and support throughout their lives. Eleanore had a strong devotion to our Lord Jesus Christ throughout her life which was learned from her parents at a very early age. She was able to lean on this strength during her illness and found great comfort in her beliefs. Her strong faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ and passing that faith onto her children; giving them the strength to carry them through their lives and through the passing of their loving and devoted mother. Instilling in them the strength of family and a compassion for others and an appreciation of the blessings of God. Always reminding them that "God is in charge, seek his will for your life and be forgiving of others".
Eleanore moved from Wilmington, Delaware to Pinellas County, Florida in 1978 and worked full-time while raising her family. After leaving a full-time position in the medical field at 65, she returned to full-time work as a Publix Bakery Clerk at Store #111 in Pinellas Park, FL. She would describe this position as the most enjoyable work she had done and made many friends with both co-workers and customers
alike. Even though she retired from Publix at age 76, many of these friendships continued up until the time of her passing.
Eleanore was our mother, our friend, our advisor and our confidant and was all these same things to everyone in her life. We will miss her presence, her voice, her smile, and her compassionate spirit but rest in the certainty that she knew the Lord and Savior and is in her eternal home with Jesus.
