Don Nuckols, age 77, passed away August 6, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.  He is survived by his daughter Emily Adsit; Anthony Thompson (Grandson); Camron Thompson (Grandson); Owen Adsit (Grandson). He was born in the Bronx, NY and moved to this area in 1984.  He was a true American and served in the Marines during the Vietnam War.  He received sveral medals of honor including the National Defense Service Medal and the Purple Heart.  Don loved classic/hot rod cars and motorcycles.  His most recent build was his 1936 Dodge Chop Top painted purple with ghost flames. While his hot rods earned several trophies, his motorcycles were not too far behind placing first in show at local events.  Don also devoted his life to his love for Animals.  He certified and completed several Animal Rescue Missions all over.  Don also loved Pizza; he couldn't get enough of it.  He would always ask, "You got pizza".

Don was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Nuckols.

Don was a devoted Husband and a proud Father to his Daughter Emily.  He was a wonderful Grandfather to Anthony, Camron, and Owen.

He was also survived by his 3 fur babies Millie, Eddie, and Jemma.

A Memorial Service will be held in his honor on Saturday, August 30th, 2025 from 3:00PM - 5:00PM here at the Funeral Home.
