David A. Scofield, 66, of Largo, FL. formerly Palmyra, IL. passed away December 23, 2022, surrounded by his wife Tami, sister, Kim and brother-in-law Rex. David was born November 7, 1956 in Chicago, IL. to Fred A. Scofield and Betty L. Handy. He was married to Tami Morehead, July 3, 2011.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents Karyl and Ruth Simpson, Harold and Mabel Scofield.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tami Scofield of Largo, FL; stepson Ryan Bilbruck and step grandchildren, Blane and Baylee Bilbruck Ali Harbaugh and Gabe Rothe, all of Palmyra, IL. as well as extended family and friends; sister Sheryl Travis and son Arieas of Springfield, IL, sister Kim and her spouse Rex Clifton of Chandlerville, IL. and their children Dana Metcalf Angelica Fritz Robert Clifton and Naomi Meister, and many great nieces, and nephews.   David had a very special place in his heart for fur baby Casey. He also enjoyed fishing, boating, traveling, Tampa Bay Hockey and baseball.

David will be remembered for his sense of humor, love of life, infectious smile. To know him was to love him and will be missed deeply by all.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.

There will be a gathering at the L.W. Mohn Funeral Home, 9:00 - 11:00 AM, Jan. 18, 2023.
