Daniel Edward Hunt,80, died Sept. 15, 2020. He was born in Oceanside, N.Y. and moved to this area in 1997 from Lynbrook, N.Y. Daniel was a Systems Analyst, also a Catholic and member of St. Justin Martyr Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Hunt; brothers John, Jim and Bill Hunt.

Daniel is survived by 3 daughters, Elizabeth Phillips, Dawn Gentry, Jacqueline Higdon; 5 grandchildren, Danny Higdon, Jacob Phillips, Dwayne Gentry, Chad Gentry, Anthony Welcher; 2 brothers, Chuck and Tim Hunt; and 2 sisters, Judy Coburn and Anne Baumann.

There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Monday, from 11:00 am until a noon service. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
